About Us

The Newton Community Children’s Choir (NCCC) was founded in 1989 by Norma Preheim to inspire students’ passion for singing. Members are provided the opportunity to experience excellence in the learning and performance of choral music.  Mrs. Preheim’s granddaughter Jill Siebert is our Artistic Director!

In addition to concerts, the choir regularly performs at events throughout the community, providing enrichment for the arts in Newton, Kansas, and surrounding towns, and some years takes a trip beyond the Newton area.
